Patrick Albin Bedell

On July 30th 2023, Patrick Albin Bedell sexually assaulted Jessica Babcock at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. After getting 2 drinks with Jessica's Aunt & Uncle, Ms. Babcock and Mr. Bedell went back to their room to change shoes to head out to the strip to ride the roller coaster at NY NY. Instead, Mr. Bedell forcefully shoved Ms. Babcock onto the bed, ripped her new skirt off, and forcefully had sex with her while Ms. Babcock pleaded with him to stop. Mr. Bedell was so forceful he took a chunk of skin out of her neck while choking her so hard. She still has a scar today. Mr. Bedell also ripped a chunk out of Ms. Babcock's hair and dislocated her knee when forcing her on the ground while he finished the act. At the end, when Ms. Babcock was able to stand, Mr. Bedell asked her why she was crying. Like he had snapped out of a trance. He then proceeded to fall asleep like a starfish on the bed while Ms. Babcock cried hysterically in pain on the bathroom floor. 
For over 6 months after the attack, Mr. Bedell manipulated Ms. Babcock into believing he was sorry for what he did and was improving himself to make up for it. But instead, Ms. Babcock learned of Mr. Bedell's continuous lies and finally was able to press charges against Mr. Bedell. After a long court battle that Mr. Bedell thought Ms. Babcock would not go through with, Mr. Bedell plead guilty and is now a felon.
